Meet the Team

Michael C. Curtis, CFP®, ChFC®, CLU®
President

Michael C. Curtis, President of MCC Financial Services, Inc., has been in the financial services industry since 1980. Mike is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Chartered Financial Consultant®, and Chartered Life Underwriter®. He is also the branch manager of his firm and has the following securities licenses: Series 7, 24, and 63.

Mike volunteers on the General Society Board of the United Helpers, Ogdensburg New York. Other areas of this organization in which he is involved include the Pension Investment Committee and Finance Committee. Mike is a national member of the Financial Planning Association®, as well as a member of the local chapter.

Mike resides in North Syracuse, NY, and has been living in Central New York since 1975. He graduated from Liverpool High School in 1976, which was followed by his attendance at St. Bonaventure University as well as Empire State College. Mike is married and has a daughter. Besides his business activities, Mike stays active through family, travel, and golf.

Ellen M. Hahn
Office Manager

Ellen has been working at MCC Financial Services since June 2000. As the Office Manager, her responsibilities are all encompassing, including assisting in the day to day office operations, as well as processing workflow. She is usually the first point of contact if you visit or call our office. Ellen’s familiarity with existing clients creates a welcoming atmosphere and allows her to provide excellent customer service to all of our clients.

Ellen has an Associate’s Degree from SUNY Cobleskill in Business Administration. Prior to joining MCC, she worked for 20+ years in the insurance industry.

Outside of work Ellen has volunteered with many organizations within the Syracuse area. She and her husband, Tom, were both born and raised in CNY.

Tricia A. McGibbon

Financial Planning Assistant

Tricia is a financial planning assistant at MCC Financial Services. She started her career in the financial services industry in 2008. Before she joined our team in 2014, Tricia was the Junior Equity Trader at a local brokerage firm. She is Series 6 and Series 7 licensed, and is currently a candidate in the CFA Program through CFA Institute. Tricia has passed the Level I examination in 2015 and is continuing to study through the CFA Program.

Tricia’s main responsibilities include trading, as well as assisting Michael Curtis in building financial analysis reports for clients.

Tricia is originally from Rome, NY and moved to Syracuse in 2011. She graduated from Canisius College in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing. While at Canisius, Tricia was a member of the Division I women’s soccer team and was co-captain of the team during her senior season.

Joseph Nestler
Licensed Administrative Assistant

Joe began his career in the financial services industry in 2009. Prior to joining MCC Financial Services in April of 2015, he worked at a local broker-dealer as a New Business Processor. Joe earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at SUNY Oswego. He is also Series 7 licensed.

Joe directly assists Michael Curtis. He is responsible for the organization and implementation of new account processing and account transfers, as well as providing excellent customer service while assisting with client contact.

Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 daughters. Joe grew up in Phoenix, NY. He and his family currently reside in Chittenango, NY.

Molly E. Pepe
Administrative Assistant

Molly started working in the financial services industry when she joined MCC Financial Services in April 2015 as an administrative assistant. She mainly works as a direct assistant to Michael Curtis, responding to his clients’ e-mails, scheduling appointments, and preparing paperwork before and after client appointments.

Molly graduated from Le Moyne College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business Administration. She is currently studying to attain the Series 7 license.

When she is not working, Molly enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
